As a DUI specialist in Virginia for over 3 decades I have dealt with quite a few substance abuse programs. What is special about Casselton Consultants? First, their program is VASAP approved. Anyone convicted of a DUI in Virginia is required to go to VASAP. If a program is not VASAP approved, then any counseling and treatment they receive before court does not count toward the VASAP requirement. Second, they have taken the time to meet with judges and prosecutors and have built a great amount of trust with them as a result. Third, Casselton Consultants always provides me with a written report before trial. I never have to call them to request the report or have to have a conversation with them about what is and what is not appropriate to include in a report to a judge. Finally, Casselton Consultants literally “goes the extra mile” and will appear at court on the trial date to advocate for our mutual client and answer any addition questions the judge or prosecutor may have. I have had occasion to refer many clients to Casselton Consultants and highly recommend their services without reservation.
Sincerely,
Bob Battle

Client Testimonials
Thank you! What else can I say, you were there when I needed you as you said you would be. Your program is fantastic. I can’t say enough great things about Laurie, Hans, you, and Debbie. Thank you for your service.

Thank you for the gift of sharing your experience, knowledge and wisdom. It has truly been a great help to me. You are a special person with a special gift. After I got the nerve to tell my mom of my DUI and going to group, I shared with her some of your tidbits, we ended up laughing so hard we had tears in our eyes. Again, thank you.

It was Will Rogers that once wrote, “It’s not what you don’t know that will hurt you the most. It’s what you know that isn’t so.” Thank you for helping me discover a part of myself that was hidden by the shame and fear of my disease. Your sessions have provided me with the tools and confidence that will help me every day. I can’t begin to tell you how grateful I am for your skill and kindness of heart.

I wanted to thank you for all of your teachings, it really made me take a step back and re-evaluate my life…As you know I’ve been in other classes before, but I truly believe this is the first time that I actually learned and retained the information that you taught me. My journey is not over yet, but I still wanted to thank you

I would like to thank each and everyone of you for your help and support during my recent legal troubles. When this incident first happened, I thought my life and freedom were in serious jeopardy. I was at a very low point in my life. But with the guidance of your staff and program, I was able to better my life. By following all the steps and procedures that your program required, I am able to understand where I have gone wrong in the past, and I have the tools to deal with the future. I know I will be tested and that is why I will continue to attend AA meetings. Again, I thank you for everything.

Thank you for everything! As a counselor, you show up for so many each week. The way you teach, believe in and help people is amazing. — Kristina D. (2020)
Gratitude can be defined a few different ways. Gratitude is an action, showing my gratitude by helping someone else with their sobriety or anything I can do for someone else. I also feel gratitude for the people that are placed in my life. There are so many people I am grateful for and one of them is you, my counselor. Thank you, you made a difference in my life. — William B. (2020)
In therapy, we were talking about the “glow”- the way you look and feel when you’ve reached sobriety. I used to be heavy into drinking, and now when I look at old photos – I don’t even recognize that person anymore. Thank you for being a part of my journey to finding myself and peace again –Angie B.
